DINING & ACTIVITIES

We understand how important mealtime can be for the physical, emotional and special needs of our residents. The Legacy offers a restaurant style dining room and fresh food from our Farmers Market Café. Helping our residents make healthy well, balanced meal choices is important to them, and to us.

Our nutritional program enables our residents to:

✓ Maintain physical and emotional health with adequate intake of nutrients.
✓ Observe the social components of meals including mealtime rituals.
✓ Maintain functional ability at the highest practical level.

Activities

Our Activity Director plans social, recreational and religious events to suit the preferences of residents. Activities include: musical guests, church services, bingo, card games and crafts. We celebrate many special occasions such as seasonal festivities, holidays and birthdays.

The range of activities varies to meet the needs of residents due to health and interest. The activities for the month are posted throughout the care center.
